Can you please throw some light on a few doubts I have regarding Home loans.
1. Can one (an individual) take Separate Home loans on the same property (say for eg, if the property price is 45L, can I take 2 loans of 30L and 5L separately)
2. with the same scenario above, ie. property price is 45L, Can my spouse and I take loans of 30L & 5L separately, without going for a joint loan of 35L?
3. If I am buying a property on resale, how can I ensure that if a prevailing loan on the property (taken by the seller) is settled? (Does my lending bank ensure the same?)
Please provide your valuable inputs.
