Investment in Rajarhat/Newtown

Hi there :

Currently I am looking to invest in Kolkata, India around the Rajarhat/New town area. Considering the current scenario, is it a good idea? As I am living outside Kolkata for long, it would be great if I can get some advice. Specially hows the area between Rajarhat Chowmatha/Rajarhat expressway? Any advice would be helpful. Some ppl told me that there are numerous problems to invest in Kolkata, specially political turmoil and illegal land acquisition. Pls throw some light on this.
Also what do you guys think of the following projects/location :

1. Mounthill Essence Kolkata | 1 BHK, 2BHK, 3 BHK and 4 BHK Flat in Kolkata | Kolkata Residential Flats

2. Ideal Abasan Kolkata | Flats in Kolkata | Cheap Flat in Kolkata | Flats for Sale in South Kolkata

I am solely looking to invest. Whats the potential for these areas?
