I am planning to sell an apartment in coimbatore. But i am really not sure if this is a good idea.
The apartment is a 850 sft 2BHK with 400sft UDS. Its very near (walkable) to NSR road, sai baba colony, one of the posher localities in coimbatore.
I feel i have to compromise on the resale value (by about 10 L) since it is a 16 yr old flat , 2nd floor without lift and un-reserved open car parking.
I am selling it as i want to buy a 2/3 BHK in medavakkam and the proceeds will go towards my downpayment.
Now, i really feel that if i hold on to the coimbatore apt for few more years, till it is re-developed, its value would be really high.
I am confused and any thoughts are welcome.
