Residential apartments Project, Sy.No. 30, Kammagondanahalli village, Yeshwanthpur Hobali, Bangalore North Taluk, Bangalore by M/s Divya Infra Properties Pvt. Ltd.
It is a proposal for construction of Residential Apartment of 385 units in Stilt Floor + Ground Floor + 6 Upper Floors with 2 Blocks on a plot area of 14,472.8 Sqm and with a total built up area 40,589.10 Sq.m. The total water requirement is 259.875 KLD and the investment is of Rs.40 crores. The total parking provided is for 433 cars.
The proposal was considered by the Authority during the meeting held on 31.03.2011. The Authority decided to issue Environmental Clearance subject to submission of the following information:
(a) NoC from the BWS&SB.
(b) Plan for disposal of excess treated water if the UGD facility is not available.
(c) Revised social commitment plan with emphasis to assist construction of houses for the flood victims of the North Karnataka, Akshaya Patra or assistance to institutions working for welfare of physically/mentally challenged children.
However, the information sought was not received so far even after lapse of 18 months.
A letter was sent to the proponent requesting to submit the above information latest by 25th August 2012, failing which the project proposal will stand closed. The proponent has requested vide letter dated 24.08.2012 seeking further two months time for submission of NOC from the BWS&SB.
The Authority noted that sufficient opportunity has already been given and the issue is pending for past 18 months. The Authority observed that the way the proponent is delaying in furnishing the required information gives an impression that they are not serious in pursuing the project. The Authority after discussion, decided to close the file with observation that action under Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 be taken, in case project is taken up without Environmental Clearance.
