While it does seem like we're seeing Deb gently nudged toward understanding and accepting what Dexter is, last night's episode seemed to be almost too perfect an example of the value of his code. Watch The Walking Dead Season 3 Episode 2 Because, for every nick-of-time bad-guy kill Dexter gets, there are ones he pursues at his leisure, when he isn't racing down the clock to find and destroy a killer. Speltzer escaped at the end of last night's episode, but now there's solid proof of what he's capable of, which is exactly what Dexter needed. The fact that Deb nearly got herself killed trying to stop the murder was more of a bonus for Dexter's case.
