Has anyone in the forum tried diversifying into Agri lands? Any inputs along the following lines will be appreciated.

- What are things to watch-out for someone who has absolutely zero exposure to hands-on agriculture / farming practices? What are the potential pitfalls?Given the diverse profile of members in the forum, am sure someone would have tried investing in agri land. Please share your experience / views.
- Is there a minimum threshold land size (say 3 acres) that is a MUST for any meaningful income realization through agri activities?
- Nanjai Vs Punjai lands - benefits of each type for agri activities and for a need-based conversion to residential real estate at a later point in time.
- Bank funding for Agri activities - interest rates.
- Possibility of directly managing agri activities while still employed in a full-time 8 to 6 job - weekly/bi-weekly visits to agri land is possible.
- Giving the land on Kuthagai - how does that work in reality? any threat towards losing ownership of land?
