Named property vs 'non-branded' property

I am in a dilema as to whether to invest in plots sold by an established developer, Sriram in Anekal or in a plot sold by JNR developers behind Art of Living, Kanakpura. Both cost the same on sqft basis. The amenities like tarred roads, power lines are the same.

The Anekal plots are on the state highway leading to Anekal. I am yet to visit the Kanakpura Rd layout.

Which has better appreciation potential? FIVE years from now, it will be easier to sell a brand-name property me thinks.

Buy the Kanakpura plot if I want to keep it: possibly sell it 15 years later or build a home.
Buy the big-name plot to cash in on appreciation in 3 years (short term).

Long term Kanakpura has better prospects, I think, compared to either Anekal or Hoskote.
