Why Everything FAILS in Greater Noida ??

Greater Noida City is now having a Reputation of being a Failure on so many fronts...nearly ALL

1. Commercial Retail - Its First 2 malls in best possible location are one of the worst malls of NCR. Brands have shut shop and left. Many simply dont want to open.
Other Malls under construction have slowed down dramatically as they too dont want to end up like these Empty malls in city.
This is first time in NCR..that...The First 2 malls of a city n bect locations...and where there is no mall within 20 km radius...have performed so poorly

2. Office - First Commercial Belt, facing a golf course and in best possible location doesnt have a single MNC office.

3. IT Park - Near Sharda, Only Stmicro is operational, rest all are vacant and empty for years. Inspite of being RTM , No MNC has any interest in them

4. Education - 100s of Colleges, but lack in Quality. Seats Vacant.

5. Public Transport - One of Worst in NCR.
And even if something is initiated...it falls in its face.

6. Residential - Its Ready to move sectors are empty. Posh societies like Swarn nagri, nri city have Plumbers, Masons and Auto Rickshaw walas as tenants in the Plots

Its Built up houses, inspite of being ready look like Ghost Town sectors

7. Security - Car Jackings, even shootings have become a routine affair.
Noida expressway is most Unsafe Expressway. Not only people are Dying there now on daily basis bue to lack of any foot over bridges to allow people to cross...but lack of ambulance..policing....traffic police..no control of overspeeding....etc etc.

Criminals have free run on Noida e-way due to lack of cops - The Times of India

Even Small Supermarkets operating in region like Honey Money are forced to Hire Bouncers in their premises.


8. Industrial : Not even a Single Industry of even National standard set up its base in Gnoida in past 7 years.


9. Entertainment: Inspite of being the gateway to world most popular 7th wonder of the world.....there is a Big zero on entertainment front in this city. Worst in NCR.
While other National Highways linking delhi ..Have water parks..Huge restaurants...etc etc..where people even from delhi visit on weekends.....There is absolutely Nothing on the Expressway right from mahamaya upto Agra !!!!

Its a SHAME...that Lakhs of Cars use this expressway to Taj, F1, etc...and they dont even have a Quality Stop over to have lunch..coffee , etc

They come from Delhi and Go to Agra....without adding anything to commercial gains of this region...this region is completely bypassed !!!!

Having Third class builders like AMR proposing Adventure Malls etc ..where even professional stuntmen die on first day....is adding to woes !!!


YES...Greater Noida WAS Well Planned and Luckily has managed to escape the Greed of Authority..as most land is already sold......BUT.....Has this become its Biggest obstacle in its Development.

Authority has no land left to exploit and therefore have diverted all their energy, money and time to Builder Lobby regions...leaving this region to deteriorate.

The Attitude of Both State Govt (SP and BSP) Is equally damaging.

Proposals after Proposals with Almost Nil execution is aimed only to help builders sell their inventory.


My Guess.....the U.P Factor...Greedy and Incompetent Nexus of Netas and Babus...which is not changing...only getting worse....
