Dear sir,We are planning to purchase a 7 year old flat at vilivakkam.The seller has given us the sale deed and deed of agreement made with builder,approved building plan for verification.But he is telling that he lost his parent documents and does not have patta for that land on which the flat is built up.Instead of Parent documents,he has his copy of documents and even took loan from that property and has repaid it,he has given that receipt also to us.Shall we proceed with buying idea without patta of land and parent documents original,please guide us legally with this?
