I am a resident of Goa with PIO status.I am currently viewing 2 appartments with a view to buying 1.
One owner is a pio foreign national.The realty agent told me that property law specific to Goa prohibits a pio from selling to another pio.I can't find mention of this anywhere,so wondered if anyone could verify.
The second apartment is being sold by a foreign national who has the agreement of sale.Am I legally allowed to register the deeds automatically,or must I have the permission of the developer.I know of instances whereby the developer has asked for a percentage from the seller,can he also ask this of the buyer in order to convert the agreement of sale?
